CHOCOLATE DIPPED SHORTBREAD COOKIES..

This is Part One of a Six Part Series on BAKING CHRISTMAS COOKIES. Each week, for six consecutive weeks, I will demonstrate for you how I make some of my favorite cookies. These are my Chocolate Dipped Shortbread cookies.....with a twist. They have mini chocolate chips inside them! Easy to make and what a beautiful display that will make at any holiday or party. Rich, buttery shortbread dipped in chocolate. What could be better! Recipe: 2 cups unsifted flour 1 cup softened butter 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 12 oz. package (2 cups) Nestle mini-morsels, divided 1 TBSP. vegetable oil 1/2 cup nuts - finely chopped, sprinkles or any other ingredient you would like to dip the cookie in ( I like to use a variety of different toppings) Follow directions in the video.
