The Blue Pedalway runs from Wymondham to Norwich and is mostly on off-road shared use pavements. Although there are issues with some junctions, on the whole it's not a bad route. But is it safe enough for children to use? Alex (12) and Erik (8) tried it to find out. They were followed closely by Derek, recording with the Go-Pro and dad, who stayed out of shot. The two lads are keen and regular cyclists. The section through Cringleford and Eaton is on-road, a barely signed 20mph zone which can be very busy with traffic. In Eaton there is a frankly dangerous section as bikes re-join the off road cycle track. The day we picked was very quiet, normally there is very much more traffic here.
