Roger Bellow is the premier authority on Classic Country/Western music in the Charleston, South Carolina region. Charleston Magazine called him "perhaps the city's most authentic country artist." Behind the often times zany onstage persona, is a serious student and aficionado of the genre. He was awarded the S.C. Folk Heritage Award, in 1995. Roger has been performing in the Charleston area for 25+ years and has owned and operated Town & Country Music Store since 1990. Town & Country is a local treasure, unknown to many area newcomers or out of towners. Located on heavily traveled Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant, the store's interior resembles a shed that one might find on the periphery in rural North Carolina or Tennessee.
