Downtown Spokane zipline awaits city approval for potential summer 2025 launch

Plans for a zipline in downtown Spokane are one step closer to becoming a reality, but community members hoping to ride the potential attraction are going to have to hang in there a little bit longer. The city says the new attraction would start at the Place of Truths Plaza, right behind the Downtown Spokane Public Library, and would end on the shore of Redband Park. Riverfront Park Director Jonathan Moog has been working with the city since 2022 to bring the idea of a zipline attraction next to the Spokane River to life. "Adding an attraction like this helps not only boost our local economy but it helps bring people, our neighbors, to downtown to shop and eat at local businesses.
