But one little clever gnome already got the jump on everyone and just finished his Christmas shopping already. Yup! After rummaging through all the major department stores on the planet, including, Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods, Nordstroms, Walmart, Dollar Tree, J.C. Penny, Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, he ice-skated in Rockefeller Center under the Christmas trees for a few minutes, sat on Santa’s lap, made snow angels, ate a snow cone, and then he grabbed a hot chocolate from a local food truck and he tied up his present bag, hopped on his sleigh, and headed back home because it was almost dinner time and his wife was making his favorite baked ham with pineapple! The first lesson you’ll learn in this festive painting tutorial is how to use simple painting techniques and color theory for blending the background for added depth and seasonal atmospheric dimension, using natural and heavenly colors to create a cool, crisp, white winter Christmas feel to your canvas, the perfect day for your button-nose buddy to go shopping for presents.
