I Signed Up For A Surf Fishing Pompano Tournament and THIS Happened.

I registered for the month-long Upper Limit Pompano Surf Fishing Tournament out of Perdido Key put on by Panhandle Salt and Blane Roberts. Results for the Pompano tournament are based on your six biggest Pompano during the Upper Limit tournament and once you get six fish on the leader board then you can keep weighing in fish at the Panhandle Salt location as you catch bigger fish and bump your smaller fish off of your total. This was day one of the Panhandle Salt Upper Limit tournament for me. I JUST bought a new 13-foot surf rod from the crew at Fishbites which was made by Okuma with specifications of design from the team at Fishbites and the rod can cast an absolute mile. The Fishbites thirteen-foot surf rod also has a nice feeling backbone and a sensitive rod tip which is an ideal combination. The low-profile grip is another big plus for this rod which makes it easy and comfortable to handle all day long.
