How to Break Open a Geode | Techniques, Equipment and Safety Tips | Moonstone Mamas

Our second video in our "How To" series is on GEODES!! Geodes are often circular shaped rocks, which usually contains a hollow cavity filled with crystals. I ordered a National Geographic Geode Kit from Amazon, and purchased a single geode from my local flea market. This video features a grand total of 11 geodes being broken open with several different types of hammers, stone hammer, claw hammer, and brick hammer. Not all geodes are created equal, and I encourage you to do your research about geodes and other crystals because I AM NOT AN EXPERT, nor claim to be.
