What happens when you get a cool band, a Grammy award-winning producer and some top recording gear? Well, you get a great job done. Hear Body And Soul & Friends recorded with Antelope's Edge Mic and it's sophisticated range of Mic Emulations, all mixed by Brian Vibberts. With a bag full of Edge microphones and a bunch of great musicians the Antelope Audio team headed to our top hosts at The Bakery studio for a cosy recording session. With great players and great tunes at hand all was left was some proper recording. We used Edge with a plethora of its emulations on everything from acoustic guitars, piano, strings, brass, kick, floor tom and drum overheads. Everything was recorded on two daisy-chained Discrete 8 units. Some Verge mics were also used for snare drum, hi hat, ride and drum and piano room mics. The final magic was done by Brian Vibberts himself, who took the time to carefully mix the Body And Soul & Friends track utilizing the precision clocking & conversion of his Antelope Audio units.
