https://typeparis.com/events/david-br... David Březina is a typeface designer, writer, lecturer, and chief type officer at Rosetta type foundry. He designed typefaces for a diverse palette of the world’s scripts, but focuses mostly on Gujarati and Latin. David holds a Master’s degree in computer science from Masaryk University in Brno (Czechia) and an MA in Typeface Design and PhD from the University of Reading (UK). His cross-disciplinary PhD thesis studied visual similarity and coherence of characters in typefaces for continuous reading in Latin, Cyrillic, and Devanagari scripts. Each Thursday : two speakers + one facilitator https://www.typeparis.com/events Our free talks open to the public will include two speakers: graphic designer as well as the weekly #typeparis22 international guest critic. The venue is limited to 120 people, after this limit, you will be added to the waiting list, and your entry will not be fully guaranteed. Our Talks will be given in English, no livestream, but available videos at a later date. Being present on the spot is the best way to miss nothing. Meanwhile, as the #tptalks22 are organized in Paris, France, most of attendees will be Parisians.
