Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Index Report for July 11, 2025 The U.S. Spot Index decreased by 2.7% to $1,070 per pound this week. With the recent addition of New Jersey and New York wholesale cannabis spot price indexes, we are preparing to release 3 additional states by the end of Q3 2025. Be on the lookout for Mississippi, Missouri and Ohio price benchmarks! The Massachusetts Cannabis Spot Index increased by 5.2% per pound this week. Prices for cannabis flower grown in all environments saw positive gains. The state greenhouse price index saw the largest movement, climbing 10.4% per pound. Driven by a 12.5% decrease in outdoor grown flower prices, the Vermont Cannabis Spot Index fell 6.1% per pound this week. As with other markets that have significant sungrown production, the remaining prior year inventory is often liquidated as cultivators prepare for harvesting this year's crop and obtain cash on hand to pay for seasonal workers to process the new crop in the fall.
