As our heroes discover the chilling truth—that their very existence has been orchestrated by Manhattan himself—they face their greatest challenge yet. They must unite to confront this god-like being before his fascination with their world turns to apathy, and he decides to end their existence altogether. Synopsis: Assembling an elite force of Earth's mightiest heroes, The Flash leads a desperate assault against Doctor Manhattan. But even their combined might proves futile against Manhattan's absolute power, leaving them broken and defeated. With civilization itself hanging by a thread and options running out, The Flash makes the ultimate gamble: a perilous journey deeper into the past, armed with forbidden knowledge of their grim future. Now, in this last-ditch effort to rewrite destiny, The Flash must navigate the delicate threads of time itself to prevent Manhattan's grand design from unfolding—before reality as they know it crumbles into oblivion.
