New 2024 KTM 300 XC TBI First Ride SO FUN

2024 KTM 300 XC TBI first ride. Lets start by saying this bike is SO fun! Hands down one of the best bikes I have ever ridden! So much better than my previous xc and tx ('17 300xc and '18 300tx). The suspension is leaps and bounds better than the older AER forks, I for the life of me could never get a "good" feel for them. I guess I will always have a place in my heart for KYB SSS forks and nothing will ever fill it....NOTHING! lol but the new suspension seems much better than AER, still not SSS forks but not terribly far off, at least so far. Lets not forget the engine, this is the biggest part that makes this bike shine! The power produced by this bike is.........INSANE! I couldn't believe how good it was in every situation, from idle to WFO, from lugging to screaming on the pipe. This thing loves to be lugged around through the woods in 3&4th gear, but loves to rip through the woods at full throttle just as much. There are a few things that I feel KTM really dropped the ball on however: start/stop button on the same cluster on the throttle side, I can't come up with a reason why this would be a good idea....NONE! I don't switch maps often enough for that to ever be a consideration but maybe that's just me. can we take a minute to talk about the HUGE front fender, it is kind of distracting at times catching it at the bottom of my vision.
