Teams from across the nation come together to take part in a fast, professional, and highly organised tournament circuit that mirrors the standard of leading international paintball competitions. The league is played in the speedball format—an adrenaline-filled style of paintball set on a small field lined with inflatable bunkers. This setup produces rapid, high-pressure gameplay where players rely on quick reactions, coordinated teamwork, constant communication, and smart on-the-fly decision-making. With multiple rounds scheduled throughout the season, teams gather points over time, making every match count toward their overall ranking. A key strength of the Super7s is how welcoming it is to players of all backgrounds. The league is structured into three divisions—Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Pro—allowing athletes to compete at the level best suited to their experience. New players usually begin in the Amateur division, where they can develop core skills such as field strategy, communication, bunker awareness, and game flow in a supportive and positive environment. All equipment used in the series is lightweight, fast-shooting, and closely regulated. Mandatory protective masks and strict safety standards ensure that the experience remains both safe and enjoyable. Super7s tournaments run over entire weekends and consist of back-to-back, high-energy matches. Speedball games are short—often only a few minutes long—which encourages aggressive moves, precise teamwork, and well-executed breakout strategies. The atmosphere at these events is electric, with referees controlling the action, spectators filling the viewing areas, vendors offering gear and supplies, and media crews documenting the excitement. Even with the competitive intensity, the community remains uplifting and collaborative, with teams supporting each other and sharing a shared passion for the sport. For anyone new to paintball, the Super7s provides an exciting and accessible introduction to competitive play. It highlights the blend of athleticism, strategy, teamwork, and fast-paced action that defines modern tournament paintball. Whether you're trying competitive paintball for the first time or progressing beyond casual weekend games, the Super7s Paintball Series offers a structured, friendly, and exhilarating gateway into the sport in Australia.
