ROCHELLE - 102.3 The Coyote and SuperHits 93.5 with the REC Center hosted the annual Trick or Treat Safe House Thursday afternoon, welcoming hundreds of children for a fully accessible Halloween event. The first 250 children received a free reusable Trick or Treat bag and a complimentary photo in costume. Around 1100 attended the 19th annual event. Maureen Stevens - Director of Recreation with the Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District said it is a fun Rochelle tradition. “It's always a great community event for us,” she said. “This year we've got over 45 local businesses that are here and so it's just nice to see all the littles with their costumes and all the parents excited to have a safe place to trick-or-treat all in one location.”
