Odell Brewing Company Myrcenary DIPA as the name suggests a DIPA and it clocks in at 9.3% ABV. Odell Describes Myrcenary as follows: "Named for Myrcene, a component of essential oils in the hop flower, Myrcenary Double IPA is our tribute to those who revere the illustrious hop, and their unyielding exploit to craft hop forward beers. Brewed with a blend of hops containing the highest levels of Myrcene, this double IPA prevails with a tropical fruit-like flavor, a pungent floral aroma, and a clean getaway." Anyway, enough pros. Hope you enjoy the video, my written review and report card follows: Odell Brewing Company Myrcenary DIPA WRITTEN REVIEW: A: Odell Brewing Company Myrcenary DIPA pours pitch black with minimal hints of red when held up to the light with an off white 2 finger head of tight bubbles. Some glass lacing and plenty alcohol legs S: Pine, dankness, citrus and over all ass big hops all up in your face. Gotta like that! No alcohol is detectable in the aroma. T: Follows the nose. Pine, dankness, citrus and over all ass big hops all up in your face. Gotta like that! No alcohol is detectable in the taste at all. M: Medium body that is well carbonated. Very smooth mouth feel and is a very easy to drink. Alcohol is undetectable. O: Odell Brewing Company Myrcenary DIPA is a GREAT representative of the burgeoning DIPA Style. It is a very drinkable brew that is what a big, hoppy DIAP should be, not to malty and not too bitter but aggressive at the same time. I like it and hope that I can drink it again some day.
