Ella Rudolph Obituary Mrs. Ella Louise Barber Rudolph was born in Coatesville, PA, on April 24, 1923. She was the daughter of the late John and Hattie Barber. Ella was called home to be with the Lord on January 31, 2026, at 4:54 a.m. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 102 years old. Ella married her childhood sweetheart, Robert E. Rudolph, Sr., and through that union were born five children. Ella attended Coatesville Area School District. She joined the First Baptist Church of Passtown at the age of 12. Through her church membership, she was a member of the Usher board, Missionaries, as well as the Pastor’s Aide. As a missionary, she organized fashion shows and talent shows for a total of 42 years. She was the church custodian for several years. Ella retired from the VA Medical Center after 32 ½ years of dedicated service in the Dietetic department. After retirement, she worked for Strawbridge and Clothier for 10 ½ years. Ella loved her family dearly and was the designated caregiver for her siblings, her children and extended family. Ella enjoyed baking her famous cakes, travelling, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughters, Wanda Anderson and Brenda Fields; grandsons, Dwain Koon, Sr. and Keith Boggs; granddaughter Ricki-Lee Gaines; brothers John Barber Jr and Anthony Barber; sisters Janie Conway, Mildred Wilkerson, Mary Brown, Hattie Barber and Gladys Barber; Son in law, Earnest Anderson; Daughter in law, Lois “Lolly” Rudolph. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Henry F. Rudolph (Renate) of Stuttgart, Germany, Robert E Rudolph, Jr., and Doris Koon (Joseph) all of Coatesville, PA; granddaughter, Sharon Lee (Rick) of Glenmoore, PA and Monique John of Tampa, FL who she helped raise; adopted daughter, Sharry Tweed Humphrey; adopted son, Roy Nutter; adopted grandchildren, Mark and Vicky Nutter; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 29 great, great grandchildren; 3 great, great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Homegoing Services will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Passtown, 117 Barber Avenue, Coatesville, PA.
