Good evening, and welcome to a late-night author interview here on the channel. Today, we are joined by an author I had the honor of meeting at last year's OC book fair. Leanne Schwartz is the autistic author of the young adult romantic fantasies A Prayer for Vengeance and To a Darker Shore, as well as the adult romance My Kind of Trouble under the name L. A. Schwartz. She has spent about half her life at either the library or the local theater, where she has played Lady Macbeth, Lady Capulet, Clytemnestra, and Hera—perhaps one reason she writes such vengeful, murderous girls. When she’s not teaching English and poetry, she can be found baking pizzelle, working with Authors Against Book Bans, and singing along to showtunes.
