After the match, Polk walked away, winning over $740,000 plus an additional $100,000 from Sulsky. In 2015, Doug Polk participated in a heads up no limit hold'em match against the A.I. Poker bot Claudico, alongside 3 other professional poker players. Each of the players battled the bot for 20,000 hands. The human team ended up beating the poker bot for 732,713 chips, with Doug beating the bot for 213,000. For their victory, the team received a total of $100,000. In September 2018, Doug Polk officially said he would quit playing poker, but he would continue to upload poker videos to his YouTube channel Doug Polk Poker. However, in March 2020, Polk uploaded a video, which should be his "Last poker video." Well... Kinda. Because when he challenged his years-long poker rival Daniel Negreanu to a high stakes heads up no limit hold'em match in July if 2020, his opponent accepted.
