Since childhood, i was fascinated with the Chambal Valley and used to read up documents about "life in behad". Movies like #banditqueen #paansinghtomar and others added to the wish for travelling through the valley. Early on as a kid, i once travelled on train cutting through the Chambal valley - Morena, Ratlam. Guess it was mid-90's and i still remember the experience...we were asked to close all doors and windows of the compartment...."Baagi's may attack" 😏 We did not really cover the valley as such, however, got to see, feel and live the experience through Chambal, the river, on which the valley had been named. Hearing stories of the river, the land around and the amazing beauty that the river beholds, was an experience of a lifetime.
