Do you tell people you're autistic or an Aspie? | Asperger's Questions

Sorry about the poor audio, bed hair, and general lack of enthusiasm in this video. I just felt tired. Audio should be improved in the video after the next one - as I'll start using a different mic. Do you identify as autistic, or 'Aspie'? Do you think it's something people need to know. My argument is that it's generally not the best idea - NTs in Australia don't know what autism really is, so if I tell them, it might alert them to think I have special needs they need to brace for.
