Dr. Angelica Galante: Exploring Plurilingual and Pluricultural Experiences

As part of McGill Faculty of Education's Faculty Features Video Series, Dr. Angelica Galante describes her research, examining the learning and societal challenges of people who speak more than one language (i.e. plurilingualism) and people who come from more than one cultural background (i.e. pluriculturalism). Dr. Galante further touches upon how her own experience as a plurilingual immigrant to Canada helps to drive her work and well as her collabourative approach in mentoring her graduate students. Students who are passionate about social change in relation to language and culture should consider pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree within the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, under the astute mentorship of Dr. Angelica Galante.
