Vodinsky Blues Trio by Easy Rider Andrzej Wodziński – guitarist (including slide guitar), vocalist, composer, and songwriter – is the founder and musical leader of Easy Rider, one of Poland’s top blues-rock bands, especially recognized as a boogie powerhouse. Established in Wrocław in 1980, the band has performed at all major blues and rock festivals in Poland and toured across Germany, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Easy Rider has shared the stage with legendary acts, including Budgie (as their support band on the Polish tour) and Buddy Guy (Warsaw concert). The band has been featured in TV broadcasts, live concert recordings, and the film “Koncert” (dir. Michał Tarkowski). Still actively touring, Easy Rider has released five albums – three original and two live recordings – and has been featured in TVP, Polsat, and PR3 (Polish Radio 3, Studio A. Osiecka). Throughout his career, Andrzej Wodziński has collaborated with renowned blues artists such as Tadeusz Nalepa, Ireneusz Dudek (founder of Rawa Blues Festival), Shakin’ Dudi, Mr. Slide Band, Bogdan Szweda & Easy Rider, Leszek Cichoński, and Chuck Frazier (USA). He has also appeared annually on stage at Leszek Cichoński’s Guinness Guitar Record Festival and contributed to the album “ABC Gitary” (2004). Honoring his contribution to blues music, Andrzej Wodziński and Easy Rider have been recognized in the Blues Stars Alley in Sława (2013) and the Blues Alley in Białystok (2015). He was also ranked Top 6 Blues Guitarist in Guitar & Bass Magazine (Guitar Top ‘93) and Blues Guitarist of the Year 1999 by Twój Blues magazine.
