❓On your ultrasound images, how can you document that the #medication injected into your intended target has tracked along the entire course of the tendon after performing a tendon sheath injection under #ultrasound guidance❓ ❗️By taking a live video clip as you scan along the course of the tendon❗️ Upon completion of this MSK #interventional procedure, the injectate should be visualized distending the #tendon sheath while performing a sweep through the tendon during real-time #sonography. For image storage and documentation purposes, you should store a post-injection cine clip while sweeping through the tendon in the short axis from proximal to distal. Ideally, the #injectate will spread along the entire length of the tendon and will be seen surrounding the tendon along its course. Static images should also be taken to demonstrate the fluid visualized within the #tendon_sheath. 💉 If any air is left in the #syringe, it may be seen in the images as well.
