Alien Sketch in Gravity Sketch using Meta Quest 3 After a very long break of virtual reality designing, I am back using Gravity Sketch and now in Meta Quest 3! This video is the first in a series using Gravity Sketch in a Meta Quest 3 to create polygonal models. In this case it’s a creature and we’ve gone for the amazing Queen Alien from the 1986 epic Aliens. I have used the Meta Quest Passthrough feature in this video so I can do this in my actual office! From a designer’s point of view this is a great feature to use when creating. However, the jury is still out on how easy this is to watch on video! What do you think? In this first video I will draw a basic stroke outline to use as a guide. In video 2 I’ll be making a volume blockout to use some different Gravity Sketch tools. I am interested to know what you think of Meta Quest 3 and in particular the passthrough feature? What quest do you use and what is your favourite feature when it comes to designing in Gravity Sketch?
