From North Karnataka to the World: A Folk Song Reimagined Through Dance. Having zero expectations and a full heart, I present to you this experimental music video — a piece of art born from a deeply personal journey. I composed this song nine years ago, inspired by a beloved folk rhyme from North Karnataka. Over time, its melody stayed close to me, quietly asking to be brought to life in a new form. The visual inspiration comes from a range of minimalistic music videos, especially those shot on white-screen backgrounds (like ‘Sorry’ from Justin Bieber). I finally started working on the video in 2023, and just two months ago, we brought it to life. We held virtual auditions across India, and with the brilliant support of choreographers Praveen Veigas, Pushpa, and Muskan, we selected 10 incredible dancers who brought their energy and magic to this performance.
