Props needed: mat, wall, at least 1 pillow/bolster Welcome to Class 02 of our 100-session Kaiut series! In this class, we continue to build on our body's trust of these new and strange shapes that we're putting ourselves into! We're also aligning on the vocab - every form of yoga has its own language of sorts; in Lesson 02 we experience the concepts of relaxation (physical response) and restfulness (a relaxed mindset). We can't always be relaxed, but we can bring a restful mindset to keep us from slipping into the habit of "pushing through". The Practice: 60 minutes of floor-based, joint-focused work. No fancy gear—just a mat, a pillow/bolster, space on a wall, and space on the floor. Listen to and work with your body's feedback including pausing the video and walking around if you need to.
