The Bhaneshwara Temple, which was built in the 10th century during the Ganga era, has been completely renovated and renamed Saptamatruka Tripura Sundari Temple, but the temple premises still have Ganga era idols & inscriptions protected. In front of the Bhaneshwara temple is a Kaalamma temple, which also has idols, hero stones, and inscriptions from the Ganga Era. Most famous among historians is the Dekabbe’s Kannada inscription from the Chola era found in the fields of K Belathuru. This is the largest inscription related to the Sati system in Karnataka. K Belthur Village also has two temples built during the Hoysala era namely Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple and Sri Malleshwara Shiva Temple. The Garbhagrihaof Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple of K belathur was built during the Hoysala era and was extended during the Vijayanagara Empire time Sri Malleshwara Shiva Temple was built during the Hoysala period, but the villagers completely renovated it, causing it to lose its originality. There are a few hero tones and idols belonging to the Hoysala period scattered outside the Maheshwara temple. Most interesting among them is the sidithale veeragallu or the Exploding-head hero-stone. Wadiyar era hero stones are also found in K belathur which are worshipped by the villagers. Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, K Belathur: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WJ6h7bA8dqBrE...
