[4K] Historical Center of Cologne Germany - Walking along the Old Town

Here is part 6 of my city walking tour series of Cologne (Köln), Western Germany in May 2020 during the pandemic. This walk offers one of the best ways of enjoying the historical old town of Cologne (Altstadt Nord), the Deutz Suspension Bridge and Cathedral (Kölner Dom) during the pandemic in 2020 where traveling is difficult. I am starting this tour at the other side of the Rhine and then crossing the Deutz Suspension Bridge. Afterwards I take a walk closely to the old town, which is near the city center, and Rhine River and then heading to the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom). Cologne’s Old Town has a distinctive historical charm. Visitors are drawn by its rustic narrow alleyways lined with traditional old houses. Innumerable breweries, pubs and restaurants invite passersby to linger. Here you can enjoy a draft Kölsch beer or try Cologne’s typical Halver Hahn sandwich. Köln/Cologne is the largest city of Germany's most populous federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth-most populous city in Germany. With slightly over a million inhabitants Cologne is one of the most important commercial and cultural centers of Germany, home to numerous museums, galleries, arts and entertainment venues. This video covers the following Cologne city's attractions: Deutz Suspension Bridge, Historic Old Town (Altstadt Nord), Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom).
