What happened to Atlantic City? This New Jersey destination used to be a thriving casino and resort town that was the East Coast version of Las Vegas. But in recent years it has declined and become known as one of the worst cities in America. With a bad reputation for crime, poverty and mismanagement, Atlantic City is often hated by many, but does it really deserve the hate? I don't think so! I went there in January and took a walk around the boardwalk and surrounding areas. While the city was empty because it was winter, I had a great time! Here's what Atlantic City is like in 2025.
