La Palma - Isla Bonita - Canary Islands 25.5.-8.6.2019 This was our holiday on La Palma Island. It is a wonderful island for hiking and outdoor activities. In 14 days we drove 1400km by car, hiked 52km and 3700m in altitude, with child in the backpack and the steadycam in the hand. :) The places filmed were: Finca Aridane Los Llanos de Aridane Mirador de La Cumbrecita Mirador de Las Chozas Mirador de Los Roques Puerto Naos Pico Birigoyo Mirador de La Concepción Mirador Espigón Atravesado Cascada De Los Tilos Charco Azul San Andrés Barranco de la Tranza Mirador del Barranco del Jurado Porís de Candelaria Roque de Los Muchachos Mirador las Cabezadas Santa Cruz de La Palma Playa La Zamora Virgen de Fatima Plaza de La Glorieta Faro de Fuencaliente Mirador Los Dragos Las Tricias Puerto de Tazacorte Cubo de La Galga Puerto de Puntagorda Mirador de Izcagua El Tablado La Tosca La Fajana Playa de Nogales The gear used for this film was: Canon EOS 5D Mark II Canon EOS M EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM II EF 50mm f/1.4 EF 100mm f/2.0 EF-M 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS GoPro (just to not get wet the other equipment) GlideCam HD2000 NexToDi ND2901 The clips (from the Canon cams) were recorded as Magic Lantern RAW video and were color graded in MLVApp only, without any LUT. In sum I recorded 481GB RAW clips. All clips were processed uncorrected as proxy first. Then the project was cut and in the end all used clips were color graded with separate settings in MLVApp and linked back in the NLE. The final video was upscaled with ffmpeg and lanczos algorithm to 4K for better youtube upload. Some clips were recorded at 1fps and 46fps: I exported them with MLVApp at 25fps to get speed effects (slowmotion and time-lapse). There was no optical flow or similar used.
