After overhearing a particularly loud and obnoxious conversation between two finance-bro’s eating sushi at her favorite hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant, Razzlekhan decided to make lemonade from lemons, and make a rap song, “California Rollz.” A poignant social commentary on classism and the various prejudices of Manhattan’s rich white elite, from basic bitches and Wall Street noobs trying to sound like sushi experts, to the continuous whitewashing of Asian restaurants. Razzlekhan does not pull her punches in this song; she makes a sushi roll with her words and just like wasabi she burns these Jonas Brothers/One Direction loving bros and “Vandy (Vanderbilt University) basics” with class and Razz.
