See more details on the blog: http://travelingmel.com We went to see Konigssee lake in Berchtesgaden NP and it was amazing. The mist over "king lake" which is what königsee means, was haunting. We took an electric boat along the thin deep clean lake, which is one of the cleanest lakes in Germany, and heard the echos of fluglehorn on the walls. We arrived at St. Barholomew's and proceeded to climb into the mountains in search of the eis kappel or "ice chapel" while listening to the rumble of avalanches above us. Finn was less than thrilled with that but we all persevered and the glacial cave was stunning. 'Like' this video (really helps us out) and we would love to know your thoughts on this in the comments.
