"Repairing ceiling cracks and painting it is a relatively simple process that you can do yourself with care and patience. Steps: Safety: First and foremost, consider your safety. Use a suitable and sturdy ladder, and wear safety glasses because a lot of dust will get into your eyes and cause irritation – something I, Omid, experienced! Also, be sure to wear a mask. Cleaning: If you want your paint job to last, clean the ceiling of dust and any dirt. I use a damp cloth for this. Crack Inspection: Check the type and depth of the cracks. See if the cracks are deep or superficial. Hairline and superficial cracks can be filled with putty, but deep cracks require plastering. Repairing Deep Cracks: If the cracks are deep, you need to create a wider groove between them, as I do in my video using a chisel. This allows the plaster to penetrate the crack's depths. After widening the cracks, fill them with plaster using a trowel, ensuring there are no bumps or depressions. This is the most important and difficult step in ceiling repair because even the smallest bumps or depressions will be visible after painting. Do not let the plaster dry while working; apply it to the ceiling quickly. If the plaster dries, you'll have a lot of trouble sanding it smooth. Sanding: After filling the grooves, it's time for sanding. The purpose of sanding is to remove unevenness and create a smooth surface for painting." #Ceiling painting #Ceiling crack repair #How to fix ceiling cracks AND THE END "Thank you for choosing my channel.
