Part 5 – We’ve now fully uncovered the hidden vintage terrazzo staircase, a stunning original feature that’s been waiting to be revealed. Our plan is to preserve it beneath toughened glass, turning it into a centrepiece rather than covering it back up. The staircase will also be visible from the restaurant above, with a bespoke glass floor panel installed where it once stood — a subtle but meaningful nod to the building’s original design. Work continues as we expose more of the old drainage systems and former storerooms, carefully uncovering the history of the space. We’re also planning to relocate the beer cellar upstairs, creating additional room downstairs for an expanded gym and dedicated boxing area. Plenty more progress to come — stay tuned.
