Doctor Shemp Walkthrough - Spyro the Dragon 120% Walkthrough

Doctor Shemp is the 4th level & Boss of the Peace Keepers Homeworld. There is 1 Dragon & 300 Gems to be found here. Don't forget to grab the purple Gem on the distant & precariously perched rock. Dragon: Trondo (1:19): Trondo is found just before Doctor Shemp. Go through the level until you find the vortex on the left side. Take the vortex up and you'll see Trondo. Doctor Shemp Strategy (1:47): The Doctor Shemp fight can be divided into 3 parts each requiring you to flame him only 1 time. During the 1st part, Doctor Shemp will run up to you and try to smack you with his staff. Dodge it and flame his backside when her turns around. During the 2nd part, Shemp will spin around once before trying to smack you. Burn his backside again while he's spinning around. During the 3rd part Shemp will once again spin around, but this time he'll hold his staff outward to try to hit you as he spins. Jump over his staff and flame him again. With that, he will be defeated. Key (0:51): I don't show the easiest way to get the key because I get it on the way back from getting the purple gem. If all you need is the key then take the first vortex up (the one that leads to Doctor Shemp & the dragon named Trondo), turn around, & fly over to the key. Chest (2:25): Go to the level's end portal after Doctor Shemp, but walk passed it and look down. You should see a little ledge with the locked chest sitting on it.
