I've rode some basic trails before and some slightly technical 4wd routes, but this was my first longer trip on the bike. MOST of it is easy, but Murphy Hogback is pretty technical with steep grade, sharp drop off and a some loose rock and some obstacles. It don't think it looks as bad in this video as it does in person, but you use your own judgement! Overall I think it's a great road, but it is fairly long and it would be too much for one day for me. If you're a more experienced ride, fast-paced, on a light bike you can do it in a day no problem. I rode it in two days for about 160 miles including pavement from near Moab. Vehicles on White Rim Road must be licensed for interstate travel (e.g. no ATV/UTV even if state allows it to be licensed). Motorcycles are permitted (again must be licensed and meet highway requirements, so no "dirt bikes".) Travel on White Rim Road requires a permit.
