After successfully being promoted out of iRacing Rookies in the MX5 cup class. I thought it was only fair to try the other rookie class available, the BMW M2 Cup. This car was only introduced at the start of 2025, so it is not considered the starting point for new iRacing players. But the question I have is should this class actually better for a new player then the normal MX5? So in these 3 races I explore what the car is like to drive, and more importantly what the racing is like. And, you know what? There could be some real benefits to starting out in this little M2. I would love you hear your thoughts on the MX5 vs M2 topic. So let me know in the comments, which class a new player should start out in.
