Talat Noi, one of Bangkok’s oldest and most artistic neighborhoods! ✨ Tucked away just south of Chinatown, this area is a photographer's dream. In today's video, I'm ditching the main roads to get lost in the narrow alleys. Talat Noi (meaning "small market") is a historic neighborhood located in the Samphanthawong District in the heart of Bangkok. Here are the specific details regarding its location and boundaries: Position: It is situated on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River, sitting immediately south and adjacent to Bangkok's main Chinatown (Yaowarat) and north of the Bang Rak district. Boundaries: The neighborhood is roughly sandwiched between the Chao Phraya River to the west and Charoen Krung Road to the east. It forms a 'V' shape on the map, stretching from around the Chinatown Gate (Odeon Circle) in the north down toward the Marine Department in the south. Access Points: The area is highly connected and easy to find. The northern edge of the neighborhood is just a 10-minute walk from the Hua Lamphong MRT subway station.
