Owned by The Haven Foundation, and funded by Homes Victoria as part of the $5.3 billion Big Housing Build, Haven Seymour is part of an innovative model for high quality, long-term social housing with 24/7 funded support from on-site Mind Australia staff. Mind Australia’s mental health support workers will help you with daily life tasks and develop your skills for independent living - including helping you to connect with activities and other supports in the community. Support is tailored to help you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan. Tenancy is managed by The Haven Foundation. This property offers one-bedroom units within a 16-unit complex, each offering: main bedroom with built-in wardrobe, bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities, living room and balcony. There are also well-appointed communal recreational and lounge areas, kitchen, meeting spaces and on-site overnight facilities for qualified and experienced around-the-clock support staff. Set in beautifully landscaped grounds, Haven Seymour provides a great environment to focus on recovery, create a sense of community and to feel at home. The Haven Foundation model promotes and supports the involvement of family, friends and other carers in the lives of residents, as appropriate to each person's needs. In most cases, residents fund their The Haven Foundation - integrated social housing and support service via their NDIS package.
