When coming out of a toxic abusive relationship with a narcissist or psychopath, the idea of dating again for some can be quite scary. The dating scene has changed and has moved onto the matrix in form of dating apps. Narcissists PREY on desperate men and women looking for a mate on dating apps. Many people who end up in toxic relationships with narcissists tell me they met their abuser on a dating app. So in a world where finding healthy people to date is become harder and harder, many survivors of narcissistic abuse feel that perhaps dating other survivors is the way to go. In a way this resembles what they call 13 Stepping in Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12 Step recovery programs. It's frowned upon to date others in recovery and narcissist abuse communities should be no different.
