Cooley and Marion Clark. The two ranch partners decided to settle their differences with a high-stakes game of “Seven Up.” When the game dragged on, Clark challenged, “If you can show low, you win.” Cooley turned over the deuce of clubs — the lowest possible card — and declared victory with the phrase that would forever name the town: “Show Low it is!” As a nod to this wild Arizona tale, the Virtual USA Flying Club is adding a fun twist — each participant in the flight draws a card! Whoever pulls the 2 of clubs wins instantly, or else the lowest card drawn takes the prize.
