2025 Tour Divide - Day 5 - Richmond Peak, the best descent of the tour, Ovando and Huckleberry Pass

Day 5 of the 2025 Tour Divide (June 17, 2025) featured the spectacular climb and descent from Richmond Peak - one of the most scenic points of the entire route, and perhaps the best descent overall. It also saw me riding through Ovando, one of the well-known stops on the route, and climbing Huckleberry Pass - whose descent is less break-neck but whose ascent is almost as breathtaking - before ending the day in Lincoln, Montana. ----- I rode the Tour Divide in part as a personal challenge, and in part as a fundraiser for cancer research through the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation - one of the top cancer research institutions in the world.
