The Evolution rage 3 sliding mitre saw can cut steel, wood, plastic and Aluminium all using the one blade. This machine easily cuts through material up to 11 inches wide using the sliding mechanism on the saw. 45 degree mitre cuts in each direction are possible and also bevel cuts can be made. The laser guide on the machine ensures you get an accurate cut each time! This machine is a welcome addition to any workshop, but as with all power tools I recommend wearing safety glasses and ear protection when using this machine, also when cutting metal I recommend a full face visor do to the hot pieces of swarf that are ejected from the machine. This machine is a perfect machine for cutting aluminium as most people will know that you should not use a resin disk on aluminium (such as an angle grinder).
