Part 1: A trip on the MNPL with Steam Incorporated Kapiti-Taranaki

On the 20th of Feb 2025, Steam Incorporated ran their Taranaki Explorer from Paekakariki to Inglewood, Behind GVR owned DC 4818, And Steam Inc owned DA 1431 for a busy weekend of American motor action. On the way to Taranaki, We have some stunning weather for a good view of Mount Egmont, We also roar through Fordell, And up the Westmere bank, We also see some other iconic sights like the Stratford clock tower, Past the lovely waters of Pātea, And see the Hāwera and Whanganui water towers, And ofcourse, Pass the Fonterra Whareroa Factory. This was all filmed exactly one week later from when I filmed for my Napier Art Deco series.
