Is Cala Millor a good option for holidays in Mallorca? Cala Millor is a resort town on the east coast of spanish Island Mallorca. Built with the main purpose of being a holiday destination, this seaside town is perfect for those looking for a relaxing vacation. The seafront is home to the most popular hotels, the ones who enjoy the best sea view. The beach promenade is the ideal place to dine, shop and take a walk while admiring the coast’s beauty. There are plenty of things to do in Cala Millor. The town is surrounded by some nature reserves where you can hike and maybe discover some secret little coves. The main beach is long and sandy, ideal for kids, but there’s also a rocky one called Cala Nau. The closest towns, called Sa Coma and Cala Bona, also have nice sandy beaches. With golf courses, karting tracks, a horse ranch, boat tours and more, it will be impossible to get bored here. If you want to take a more cultural break, head to nearby town Son Servera where you can admire beautiful murals and a unique unfinished church : there is no roof and the floor is made of grass. The Església Nova church feels magical and it is worth a stop in Son Servera. Nearby Porto Cristo is also a good place to visit. The picturesque little port is also known for being the hometown of tennis player Rafael Nadal. P.S. In the beginning of this video we enjoyed our usual weekend breakfast at a pastry shop called Luis Perez and located in Palma de Mallorca. The drive from Palma de Mallorca and from the airport to Cala Millor takes a little more than an hour. You should definitely consider Cala Millor if you want a laid back destination for your next vacation in Spain.
