ICC judge warns Duterte defense over divulging details of witnesses, victims | ABS- CBN News

ICC Judge Iulia Motoc warned the defense team of Rodrigo Duterte to "respect the chamber's decision regarding redactions" in the fourth and final day (February 27) of the confirmation of charges hearing in the ICC. This was after several parts of the livestream on the previous day of the hearing were cut and redacted due to the defense's lead counsel Nicholas Kaufman mentioning details of the witnesses and victims. "Mr. [Nicholas] Kaufman, please proceed and you must respect the chamber's decision regarding redactions. Otherwise, I will be obliged to interrupt you each time so as to protect victims and witnesses," Motoc said at the beginning of the session on Friday. Kaufman proceeded to thank the judge for her "consideration" and said they respect the chamber's decision.
