#QuebecCity has been on our bucket list since arriving in Canada and we finally made it! Visiting the French-Canadian province of #Quebec in Fall has been a highlight of our travels in Canada over the last year, and we are so excited to share this #NewVideo with you. Our first stop in this province was Montreal, so make sure you check out that vlog too; you can use the link below. From #Montreal to Quebec City we took the #ViaRail train, arriving at the Quebec City train station, Gare du Palais, after a short 3.5 hour train journey. We also vlogged this experience which you can check out here . Quebec City, Quebec, has many things to do, but our main interest was exploring Old Quebec City. Old Quebec City is where you really get to experience the French influence of this province, from beautiful cobblestone roads, old squares, multi-story, stone buildings with planter boxes, fresh bakeries and grand architecture dating back over 400 years. As the oldest city in Canada, the history in the walls and streets of this town makes you feel as though you have stepped back into the European streets of Paris, not Eastern Canada. We spent much time exploring Old Quebec City, and in this vlog we take you on a brief food tour including eating some Poutine as this originated right here in Quebec! We also visited Quebec City's Old Port, Quebec City Fairmont (the world's most photographed hotel) and many Quebec City restaurants.
