This is where faith, politics, and history collide—at the heart of the Gorsam Kora Festival, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage that brings together people from India and Bhutan. Few know this place exists. Fewer know China claims it as “South Tibet.” But the people of Zemithang proudly call it home—a place rooted in tradition, guarded by monks, and watched over by the Indian Army.
