A Tribute to a Great Lower 48 | Yellowstone National Park [2]

We're here in Yellowstone for a second day, not only to wrap up our exploration of the United States' first national park, but moreover to conclude the Best of the Most West tour. Throughout the 49 day journey it has been, we've been fortunate to discover all sorts of fascinating features of the most westerly portions of the country. To finish our trip here, an area that both proudly showcases exemplary natural wonder and dutifully highlights the rich history of Americans' infatuation with the great frontier, speaks to the ideal location Yellowstone is as our official endpoint. Two days in this park may only be scratching the surface, but we can certainly remain sure that we're using our limited time wisely in this heavenly expanse of canyons, waterworks, mountains, meadows and wildlife. Before saying goodbye to this trip and the contiguous US, let's close the book on the adventure we started seven weeks ago, and gear up for the final couple strides of the fifty state journey.
