DC vs. Marvel Mugen Playthrough: Lobo

This is a playthrough of my own DC vs. Marvel Mugen build, where I play as DC's Lobo to take down the various heroes and villains from both franchises. The ultimate parody of badass anti-heroes while also one of the best, Lobo is just the epitome of cool. He's a hard-nosed mofo who can whip any bastich that crosses him, gets all the ladies, and just owns any joint he comes across. He's awesomely dumb and that is the big appeal that keeps him so popular and fresh. As for how he plays in the build....I'll be completely honest. Lobo may be my least favorite character to play so far. Functionally, he's got several big issues that make him feel sluggish. For example, his combo strings can outright cut off in the air, which is why you'll see me whiff A LOT in this video. Not only that, but he has no easy way to launch his opponents and his attacks are hard to connect due to their relatively slower speeds in comparison to the rest of the cast. His specials focus a lot on spacing and trickery, which I feel don't really suit a guy like Lobo. Oh, and they have a big chance of hurting you at the same time. His gunfire, while good in theory, has that friggin ammo limit. His chain, though it does stun opponents, has long recovery animation that leaves him open to big damage if he misses. His bomb, while it can stunlock, also runs the risk of making you take damage from the explosion. And that bottle takes way too long to give you any good buffs that he gets and there's a big chance that they'll take away your health or your power bar regardless because the effect is randomized. His supers, however, are his saving grace in my opinion. The chain attack is a quick grab (even if it can be blocked), his BFG allows you to get some breathing room, his clone super has the clones go crazy (even if you do lose health to activate it), and his bike sweeper super has some good invincibility frames that keep you safe. Overall, though, he is certainly a lower tier character in this game, much like he is in Injustice 2. Now, this is for entertainment purposes, not a high-level play. I am very much aware that I am not very flashy, I use basic tools, and the screenpack still needs work (Some bugs, portrait screen needs to be fixed, win quote screen needs to be fixed, music needs to be added at spots, and other things). However, I hope you all enjoy this regardless of the quality of my setup and skills. All properties belong to their rightful owners.
